Does anyone know why we shouldn't be up in
arms, or taking personal action?
I was just watching an MSNBC report on the Air
Marshal's Service, and in spite of the fact the number
is supposed to be classified, they are out there
throwing estimates of around 1500-3000 marshals, to
cover an average of 30,000 flights a day. Does that
make YOU feel safer? Do we need people who might
intend harm to citizens on planes, trains, buses or
cruise ships to be aware of our shortcomings? Why do
we not think it pertinent to regularly check the
Ready.gov web site for info on
how to check out possible suspicious behavior, since it isn't likely
that we might have a Marshal on the plane you're on?
Another question. In light of the stories about
NATALEE HOLLOWAY being kidnapped in ARUBA, and many US
citizens disappearing in MEXICO, possibly being sold
into sex slavery, which in spite of the "supposed" US
Crime estimates, is growing as a concern, has anyone
encouraged our youth to NOT go to these places on "Spring Break"?
Or do we need for more people to be affected by tragedy first? "Food" for
thought, people, and you need to "digest" it.
